As October arrives and Breast Cancer Awareness month is in full swing, we are pleased to announce our “Friends with Komen” partnership with Susan G. Komen®, an organization dedicated to saving lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
“Losing my mother to breast cancer was a tough battle to fight, but this partnership is the most meaningful way for us to not only give back, but pay homage to my mother, who we named our company after,” says Joanne Rackow, Co-Owner of Splendid Iris. “We prefer to work and give back to organizations that advocate and support causes that closely align with us; to work with Susan G. Komen made the most sense.”
“Once we decided to work with Susan G. Komen, designing the jewelry gave me time to reflect and consider, ‘how can we give back, but still give strength and show support for women?’”, says Jamie Ehrhart, Co-Owner of Splendid Iris. “Naturally, we came up with a design that can be worn as a subtle reminder of hope and strength. The necklace is available in both 18k gold and rhodium plating, while the bracelet is available in 18k gold plating only”, adds Ehrhart.
Through this partnership from 10/1/25 to 12/31/25, Splendid Iris will donate to Susan G. Komen $7.00 for each Ribbon of Hope Necklace sold, and $4.00 for each Strength Stretch Bracelet sold.
